All fifty states have passed statutes dealing with fencing requirements for livestock. The depth and breadth of their coverage can vary dramatically from the strict fencing requirements found in the eastern states to the open range statutes that can still be found in some of the western states. State Fence Laws provides the statutory text of state’s laws along and the goal of the project is provide the researcher with an easily accessible database of all fifty state’s laws by simply clicking on the state’s image.
