This notice announces that the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service is requesting public comment on proposed revisions to the Guidelines for State Plans of Work for the Agricultural Research and Extension Formula Funds. These guidelines prescribe the procedures to be followed by the eligible institutions receiving Federal agricultural research and extension formula funds.

This notice announces that the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service has grant funds available and is requesting applications for the Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Competitive Grants Program. This program provides outreach and technical assistance to encourage and assist socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers to own and operate farms and ranches and to participate in agricultural programs.
