The United States Agricultural & Food
Law and Policy Blog

The United States Agricultural & Food Law and Policy Blog is a news, research, and information blog resource provided through a partnership of the National Agricultural Law Center and the American Agricultural Law Association, two national institutions uniquely serving the nation's agricultural community. The Blog is currently comprised of more than three dozen subject areas that correspond with the reading room subject areas on the Center's web site. Categories will be added as necessary.

The American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) is the only national professional organization focusing on the legal needs of the agricultural community. Crossing traditional barriers, AALA offers an independent forum for investigation of innovative and workable solutions to complex agricultural law problems.

To access the Ag and Food Law Blog, you will be taken away from the Center website to an external link.

The Ag and Food Law Blog is accessible to the general public with content entries moderated by an editorial board. The public is invited to submit blog entries or to recommend news and other items for publication by sending the pertinent information to theagandfoodlawblog@gmail.com.

Warning:

You are using an older web browser that is not compatible with basic Web standards.

We recommend that you upgrade to one of the following browsers:

Windows or Mac Users:

Netscape 6+, Opera 6+, MSIE 6+

Linux OS:

Netscape 6+, Konqueror

In an effort to create a more organized World Wide Web, the W3C has created many new Web layout standards. The key focus of their effort is to provide the best possible interoperability between the different browsing programs available.

In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies. By downloading and installing one of the programs listed above, the Web will be one step closer to eliminating these hacks and bugs.
